the Beauvilles with Five Eight, at the New World, Tampa Florida.

Since 89' Athens, Georgia rock journeymen Five Eight have been recording records, touring the country, and delivering post punk goodness for the chuck taylor wearing masses.

For no other reason aside that they want to, the band will be playing a one-off show in Tampa, Florida with friends the Beauvilles and Deadly Fists of Kung Fu (New Orleans/Pensacola).

The Beauvilles at Dogfish head Brewery in Delaware. April 22nd 2011

The Beauvilles drink lots of this beer, tonight in Delaware. We rolled into town and it is cold and blustry, but tonight we are playing to an already packed house over at the Dogfish Head Brewery. Yes, they have kind words for us here (the Beauvilles play at Dogfish Head Brewery Delaware), but more importanty they have awesome beer. This is the Beach  Outpost for one of the best breweries in the country, and beers like the 90 minute IPA are rocking.

According to Delaware Online we can "serve up power pop with draped with ragged glory..."  Well said brothers. Hope to see our friends in Delaware out tonight.

Brown University: "...no more p**** a** s*** music! YES! play ROCK music!"

We'd like to thank the fellow in the pea coat at the front of the stage for turning to the rest of the capacity audience at Brown University and shouting out this bit of wisdom: "YES! No MORE p**** a** s**** YES! Play ROCK MUSIC!".

Thank you again for dancing like you were at some strange bonfire out in the woods, and drinking red wine. We were there as well. And it was brilliant.

Well, Students of Brown University know how to dance to rock and roll music, and when the Beaus went into "Turn Out The Lights" the place completely exploded. Thank you thank you thank you. There indeed comes a time where someone has to believe in something. Also thank you to the fellas that taught Max how to play pool. And thanks to everyone for dancing like mad and getting so sweaty with us. It was a hell of a night, and we will be posting some film footage of the show tomorrow.

"Now we are stumbling around downtown Providence. We are determined to drink a beer at every bar in town, and given the size of Rhode Island, I think that we can pull it off... " -Shawn

The Pour house in Raleigh, thank you to Delta Rae and the Design.

Last night in Raleigh, we got such a warm welcome and southern hospitality it made it completely worth it to only sleep 3 hours before driving all the way to Rhode Island.

Some excellent photos were just posted by ace photographer Rodney Boles... (thanks Rodney!)

And a big thank you to both Delta Rae and the Design for making us take Shawn out to the tourvan and shaving his mustache off...
